We are two former college roommates who share a love for making a house a home. Our first project was making our drafty and drab off-campus rented house into a clean and cozy space for seven women. We have since shared our endeavors and experience with our own homes and learned that the potential for projects is limitless.

A fourth-generation Californian, I left my roots to study journalism at the University of Missouri-Columbia. After graduation, I was persuaded to settle permanently in Missouri. Trading the shores of the Pacific Ocean for the seasons of St. Louis, I have incorporated my casual west coast style with the traditions of the Midwest and found that beauty is where you make it. I have lived in an average subdivision-style house for ten years and learned how to turn builder grade beginnings into a home of distinction. My goal is to ease the process for others and inspire St. Louisians to celebrate all spaces, whether large or small.

After graduating from University of Missouri-Columbia, I worked as an interior designer in Dallas and Houston for 10 years. Returning to my St Louis roots in 2001, I began to notice what a challenge it was to locate decorative services and innovative builders. I hope to lesson others burden by providing a website where people can learn about ideas, trends and places in St. Louis to those put ideas into action.
